Reading: The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas

Yep. So much for my post a week thing I was trying to achieve…
The new layouts have been posted over on the AussieScrapJack blog! Run, don’t walk over there to see them. Some amazing inspiration! 🙂 Here is my layout:

OOPS! Off to be published!!! 🙂 🙂

Yep. It’s about my cat eating my bird. I don’t think I’ll ever truly forgive him for that.

And I am in the middle (and by middle, I mean I have just started) of making this scarf:

Just so you know. That’s not me. My hair is not that pretty. However, I am pretty sure my scarf will be though because it is such a nice pattern! Here’s a link through to the original site.
I even thought since I have been gone for so long, that I would include a book report.

I must admit, I wasn’t aware that this book was a young adults book. That being said, I think the book was great. Say 4 out of 5. It is well written. It leaves finer details out, because lets face it, we all know what went down, we don’t really need specifics. I was slightly disappointed my daughter didn’t want to read this book. I guess there weren’t enough dragons or elves in it to hold her interest. Not to worry. It’s a quick and easy read since it is only 216 pages long.
Well, that’s it from me tonight. I need some beauty sleep. 🙂
