Another op shop day with Sarah. This time we decided to hit the lower Blue Mountains. We were quite disappointed in our finds for the first few shops. Then at Blaxland we found some great stuff!

Some gorgeous flash cards. Yep. These were the find of the day. Just awesome. I also found some old photos and I thought they were cute, so I picked them up as well. I think they were taken in the 1940's judging by the subject matter of one of them, so yeah, a good 65 years old I would say. I don't have any old photos of my family, which, trust me, I am more than happy with since I still have 3 out of 4 grandparents!

Well, that's about it for today. Just some finds. Steve was most happy I didn't come home with any more furniture!

Well, since I am busy working on my Scrapbooking Memories Masters entry, I have naught scrapbooking to share.

I do have a photo though, it's not a great photo as bugger, I forgot my ISO was set to 1600 so it is a bit grainy.

But here is my cheeky wicked little girl. Wicked because she has a wicked sense of humour. Can anyone say class clown?

See the chair she is sitting on? Well, I picked up the biggest bargains. I went op shopping with my pal Sarah-Lou and I got 2 of these for $5 each! They are awesome and just what I have been looking for! Love it when that happens.

Dang it. My hard drive died. Indeed. I backed up my photos so nothing to worry about there. But. I have lost all my emails and addresses. This I find distressing. :(

Well, I had a lovely time in Melbourne. It was good to see my dad again and it was good to stay there so in all it was a cheap holiday for myself and the kids. We did heaps, but that's a post for another day.

Today I have a couple of scrappy things.

Some layouts and even a couple of cards.

Using October Afternoon's Fly a Kite range:

Hang on, you need your sunglasses for the next layout:

And a card for the Christmas in July comp at Ideal Papercraft:

I will update Journal Challenges over the weekend. We have 2 challenges this fortnight to make up for the last month so crack out your writing implements! :)

Yesterday Steve and I have been together for a grand whole sum of 12 years. I cannot believe where those 12 years have gone. It only feels like yesterday when we went out for the first time to the drive-ins. Ahhh memories.

He is off to New Zealand this week as it is his brother's 21st birthday. I am sorely going to miss him. I already do and he only left this morning. :(

I have a layout to share though. It's for Ideal Papercraft and it is for the sketch challenge this month. My first go at creating this layout, I absolutely killed it using black chalkboard Glimmermist. So, here is take 2.

And here is the sketch:

If you want to play along, just head over to the forums at Ideal Papercraft and join in the fun. While you are at it, maybe you can register for our Christmas in July Card Challenge?

And if you expected to see a C is for photo, sorry I haven't taken one. The cat still moves too fast. Wretched animal.

Funk. Yep. That's the place I have been for a good couple of months now. In a funk. It's all good. My annual leave starts in two more days. I can survive just two more shifts. Because it makes me happy going there and counting down the days to anyone willing to listen. Yep. I am annoying like that. Did you know? Only 2 more days! Yeaaah.

Now, I haven't even continued with my A-Z photo challenge. You would think B would be easy, Beth, right? Well, you know, my hair is always messy and well, I can't be bothered to set up the tripod. So after about 10 minutes of scraping ice off my car windows on tuesday morning after work, I thought I would take a photo of the frost on my front lawn. Now. The one thing I didn't remember was my ISO was at 1600. I thought it was my lens giving me grief and not wanting to focus. No. Just turns out there was too much light. LOL. I always forget to check that!

So, there you have it, my B is for Brrr photo. Now to think of something for C. Hmmm.
