So while on my way home from work this morning, I was listening to the radio and there was an ad for flowers, being so close to Mother's Day and all.

It said:

Delivery anywhere in Australia, New Zealand and EVEN Overseas.

So. Ummmm. Does this mean they have offically made New Zealand our 8th state?

Here's a photo just to keep this post looking bright and shiny.

It's of Kate running in her cross country. Don't be fooled. It's about the only time she actually ran. No, seriously, she went well for someone who doesn't do any sport. But boy, did she complain of having sore legs for 3 days afterwards.

Monkey see, monkey do. Yes, Amy saw the dog drink out of the bucket. I really have nothing more to add to that.

  1. Beth,

ROFL at that pic of Amy - priceless. Kids do and say the darndest things lol. Can't wait to see that scrapped.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment on my blog. Was so embarassed to re-read it this morning - sounded like such a whinge but it wasn't what I had intended. I guess I just wanted to put another face to what we as mothers do with our lives. What you said sure has made a lot of sense to me and with any luck my boys will grow up knowing that I was there for them when it matter, just like how you felt with your mum.
Hope you have a great mother's day.
    Cheers, Sarah (scrappergirl)

  2. Good on Kate, I used to be one of those people that tried everything to get out of sports.

I love that photo of Amy, you have to scrap it.

  3. It is such a great photo of Amy. What a wonderful moment to catch. These are the priceless photos our kids may cringe at but learn to love. Good on you for capturing that moment.

  4. Hi Beth, I love what you have done with that monster embellishment. Very cool!!!!
