Just posting this layout that was in Creating Keepsakes in the February issue.

Actually, it looks a little different as I added some brads to the flowers after I took the photo. I thought it was 'missing' something.

You can hardly see his scar anymore, which is a good thing, except, girls dig guys with scars. LOL.

I made this card for two things - firstly for a card swap I am in and secondly for one of the cybercrop challenges happening over at The Scrapbook Establishment.

Now, I must note that I am not very good at making cards. This was no exception. It took me two goes at sitting down to try to put this together. And still I had to use a sketch! I have come to the conclusion that I would rather buy a card and save the handmade creativeness stuff just for layouts.

I scrapped again. I don't know what's gotten into me?

This layout is for the cybercrop happening at The Scrapbook Establishment at the moment. Pop on over to check it out if you have a spare minute.

The challenge I set was quite easy really.

1. Use a number or numbers as a design feature
2. Roll your paper - I originally rolled the green PP edges, but changed my mind and rolled up a PP candle.
3. Use a stamp.

Pretty easy, right?

Sickness here aplenty. It's not fun.

A layout I created. I couldn't quite believe how much Luke and Amy looked alike until I saw this photo.

Congratulations to my dear friend Lusi on the birth of her little princess, Zipporah.

Journal It is starting up again.

The first challenge will be posted on the 1st of May.

Exciting stuff. :)

I have kept everything that I have ever bought for scrapbooking.

I don't purge.

So when I did this layout I was going through my stash thinking to myself:

I am going to complete this layout with all my old crap.

Ok, so it's not the best layout and the PP is like 8 years old.

But who cares.

The story is down and the photos are scrapped.

That's all that matters to me. :)

It seems the Easter Bunny found his way to our house this year.

And the kids had an excellent time hunting for the Easter Bunny's chocolate eggs.

And I have eaten far too much chocolate...

And yep, he was given lollies for sitting up nice and straight like that.

Luke, wearing his hat for the Easter Hat Parade.

I had some hot glue gun lovin' and now I want to hot glue everything.

It isn't appropriate for my scrapbook though, I suppose.

I took 16 photos of Amy yesterday and guess how many she is frowning in?

On a random note, a little girl in year one walked up to Amy in her pram yesterday while we were waiting for the kids to come out and pinched her on the forehead. She dug her nails in and now Amy has a sore on her head. Apparently her parents will be notified. All I can say is, who does that?!

Literary Week come dressed as your favourite book character day:

Kate as Alice in Wonderland and Luke as a bear out of his favourite book 'I can... can you?'kateasalice

Making the costumes drove me crazy, but I got there in the end and I must say, besides the fact that Kate is soooo skinny so her dress was too big, I think they look pretty good. :D

Oh and if you need to make a hood: check out this site:

And Amy is well again and making up for not eating for a couple of days and devouring everything in sight! Good stuff! :)

Luke is Army crazy. He loves the idea of the Army and will no doubt end up there. In the mean time, he can content himself with a remote controlled tank.

Amy is not well. She is recovering from a bout of a vomiting virus. She is keeping fluid down today at least. Poor bubba. I don't think I have ever seen her sit so still.

I have all but finished the costumes for tomorrow's Literacy Week Book Parade. Can't wait to get some photos of the kids! :)

I scrapped this layout of Amy for the blind CC over at The Scrapbook Establishment.

Other than that, we had a family portrait done today. The result was good and I can't wait to get the photo in 2 weeks time.

Well, back to these costumes I am making for the kids for school.

Amy says 'cheese' when I get the camera out.

Too cute for words.
